With Baxter Homecare Services, you receive continuous support from skilled healthcare professionals. While your hospital care remains under your current team's supervision, we facilitate home parenteral nutrition (HPN) with our specialised nursing and pharmacy teams. Our nurses and pharmacists will provide weekly updates to your clinical team, ensuring comprehensive care coordination. Upon starting HPN, Baxter Homecare Services will furnish necessary equipment like infusion pumps, fridges, and drip stands, which remain our property; please handle them with care and notify us of any issues. Our Nurses
All our nurses are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and have passed Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
They wear Inizio Engage and Baxter uniforms and always have their identification badges on display.
Our nurses have professional experience in caring for central venous catheters (your lines) and administering intravenous therapy. They also complete specialist training in HPN, along with a comprehensive training and induction programme at Inizio Engage.
To ensure the highest standards of care, our nurses take part in regular refresher training, and their skills and competence are reviewed each year.
Our Pharmacy Team
As part of Baxter Homecare Services, we have a team of pharmacists. They will talk to your hospital team to co-ordinate the prescribing of your HPN, and to change your prescription if that is ever needed.
Our Customer Services Team
Our customer service staff are experts in co-ordinating orders and deliveries of HPN supplies and ancillaries, and answering any queries you have about the service.
Our Delivery Team
All of our delivery drivers wear name badges, carry photo ID and have been security checked. With your permission, our drivers will unpack your HPN supplied and put them in the fridge (if applicable), and take away any yellow waste bins.
